    Biography

    Zachary Matthay, M.D. is a general surgery resident at UCSF. During his reasearch years, he studied post-injury platelet biology, coagulopathy, and thromboembolism after trauma in Dr. Kornblith's laboratory at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Tufts University and received his M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco in 2016. In addition to his research interests in coagulation disorders after injury, Dr. Matthay's clinical interests include Trauma and Vascular Surgery.
