Saigeetha is a second year master’s student at UCSF studying Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She received a B.S. in Bioengineering with a minor in Chemistry from UC Merced in 2022. Her research experience includes clinical research in cardiovascular disease outcomes, developing biomaterials, and antibiotic bacterial resistance. Saigeetha started volunteering at the Kornblith Lab in the fall of 2022 studying post-injury platelet physiology and platelet biology. She intends to go to medical school in the future and practice in rural California as a physician.
