Michelle is a senior undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is studying Genetics and Genomics with a certificate in Global Health. She began as a volunteer in the Kornblith lab in the summer of 2023 due to her interest in fast paced fields such as surgery, emergency medicine, and innovative clinical research. At the Univerisity of Wisconsin, Michelle is a member of the Dr. Bo Liu lab, a vascular surgery research team, and is focusing on a project aimed to evaluate the role of fibrosis in an abdominal aortic aneurysm pathway. She is pursuing medical school after she graduates.
