Maya Patel is an undergraduate premedical student at UC Berkeley. She is studying Molecular and Cell Biology as well as Data Science. She is interested in pursuing clinical and translational biomedical research, and her clinical interests include and a future career in surgery. She is particularly interest in applying the growing discipline of data science to translational research projects to maximize their potential impact.
