Amelia Marvit is an undergraduate at the University of Southern California studying Human Biology. As a freshman, her work with the Harvard Project on Disability was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. On campus, Amelia works as USC’s official organic chemistry tutor. She also works at USC’s Convergent Science Institute on a clinical trial studying CAR-T therapy for breast cancer. Outside of the lab, she’s investigating the cardiac anatomy of Time Lords, a fictional species from the British sci-fi show Doctor Who. Publications are forthcoming on her work in both breast cancer and Doctor Who. After graduating from college, she intends to pursue an MD.
